3D bending / freeform bending is used everywhere today
The importance of 3D bending / freeform bending increases year by year. Whether it is intended for use in industry, for private applications, or even in artistic fields.
In one geometry, several different radii can flow smoothly. In 3D bending, in the optimal case, small bends up to 2.5 times the radius of the pipe diameter can be achieved. A cold forming of the material takes place.
This always requires a precise examination in individual cases. Through CNC-controlled machines, it is possible to represent almost all geometries. Usually, 3D contours are represented as splines.
